Why Affiliate Marketing?
Today, I want to talk about WHY Affiliate Marketing is the easiest way to make your first $5k/month.
You can make more than $5k/month, but I chose this number since this is what most people need to quit their job and achieve so called financial freedom.)
There is one key reason why Affiliate Marketing is the best business model, especially for beginners.
You see, when you are just starting in this Internet Marketing space, there is a lot of new stuff you have to learn:
How to do the marketing?
How to sell?
What product do I sell?
Do I need a website?
How do I set up a website?
The list goes on and on.
And one of the worst things you can do in this situation is try to build your own course/program.
Also watch – How to find products you want to promote
Because there is a ton of stuff that comes with that.
What’s the format of the course? Video or text?
If it’s video, do I need to buy a camera to film the lessons?
Where do I host the lessons? Do I need a website?
Which software do I use?
How do I write a sales letter so people buy from me?
How do I even know if people want the product I am building?
Not to mention that you also need to have customer support and help out those people that joined your program.
So many things to think about.
With Affiliate Marketing, all of these problems are gone.
Instead of building your product, you just promote other people’s products.
No need to build a website.
No need to create the content for the product.
No need to write a sales letter.
No need for the customer support (the product owner takes care of that).
All you have to do is focus on 2 things:
Finding people that are interested in that product
Building a relationship with them and selling them the product
And that’s MUCH easier than building your product.
Now, don’t get me wrong.
These 2 things still take time & effort, especially in the beginning when you are just learning this stuff.
It’s much easier if you only focus on these 2 things and leave the product creation to someone who is more experienced.
So, how do you find people that are interested in the product you are promoting?
How do you build a relationship with them?
And how the heck do you sell them stuff?

How do you find people that are interested in the product you promote through Affiliate Marketing?
Well, it’s actually not that hard to do.
First thing you need to do is have a clear picture of who the ideal person for that product is.
(In the Affiliate marketing world this is called your “Customer avatar”.)
1. What is the problem they are trying to solve?
2. What is the pain they are trying to move away from?
3. What is their desired result?
4. Why do they want that result?
Once you know these things, it becomes very easy to find them.
Let me give you an example…
Let’s say you’re promoting a product that helps skinny guys build muscle.
What is the problem they are trying to solve? They are skinny, they want to build muscle and not look skinny anymore.
What is the pain they are trying to move away from? They don’t like how they look, they don’t like what they see in the mirror, they’re embarrassed to take their shirt off.
What is their desired result? They want to build muscle.
Why they want that results? That will give them confidence, they will feel better about themselves.
Now, when you know these these things it becomes really easy to find them.
If they are trying to build muscle, where are they going to be online?
They will probably watch YouTube videos about building muscle in the gym.
They will probably follow Muscular influencers on Instagram.
They will probably be in Facebook groups for muscle building.
They will be in forums.
Looking for solutions on Google.
See how that works?
Now, all you need to do is choose one of these platforms and find a way to get in front of them.
And make sure you only choose one platform to begin with. There is no way you can effectively do this on multiple platforms unless you have a team of people.
Which platform do you choose?
Depends on your niche.
If your niche is dancing, it might make sense to focus on one of the visual platforms like TikTok or Instagram.
If your niche is investing, you may choose YouTube, blogging or Facebook groups.
Does the platform you choose matter?
Well, YES and NO.
Let me explain…
If you’re into investing, you can find people interested in investing in Facebook groups, on Youtube, blogs, forums…
And on each of those platforms you can build an audience of people that are interested in your topic and make money from that audience.
However, it’s way EASIER and FASTER to build audience on some platforms.
For example, I prefer Facebook.
Because it’s the easiest place to find your ideal customers and build an audience.
There are 2.7 billion Facebook users (the last time I checked). And there is a group for almost every niche out there.
Investing? There is a ton of groups for that.
Fitness? There are groups for that.
Guitar lessons? Yup, even that.
Affiliate Marketing? Even that.
You get the point.
Now, once you find and join these groups, all you need to do is write good content and post it there.
Do NOT promote yourself directly. Most group admins will ban you if you just straight up promote yourself.
Just write good content that helps people. Share your stories that may inspire people. Share your wins and your results.
And guess what happens then?
People will start noticing you, they will engage with your content. They will start checking your profile and adding you as a friend (or following you).
What I also suggest to do is to add everyone who engaged with your posts.
And soon you’ll have hundreds of friends (and followers) that are all interested in the product you promote.
